Though very aware that it is so much easier to change it for the worse. There is a drive in me that so very much desires to see this world be the better self that I know it can be! Hello. Its been a bit of a crazy few days: with me mainly keeping my head stuck very firmly in a Hebrew revision book! But as of 1038 this morning my short but illustrious career in Hebrew is over. The 'I will not be defeated' part of me might carry it on (?), but wise heads are advising no, so thats that! So now all thats left is a carol service, a Christmas dinner and a PARTY! Oh and then a whole bunch of other stuff! But its Christmas soon! I very excited!

I feel like I've actually done something today. I spent the afternoon in prison which was challenging in a very real life way. Still the age old issues about connection and reflection: you know when you experience things so you can blog about them? You don't really connect cos you are thinking about how you are going to write about them. Well theological reflection does that to you as well! But yeah: it was immense.. God is on the move. I am too tired to string sentences together!

Long time no blog: Have been a little busy. Had a very fun couple of days with the 24-7ers last week. I spent a day teaching on deepening prayer which was great (I loved it, no-one fell asleep that I saw so I think it was OK- recordings will be on the 24-7 site sometime I guess). Also hung out at the UK network day which was much fun! The whole thing started me thinking: I'm learning loads about some stuff (the day of teaching showed me that I think), but I'm not going to get equipped for everything through lectures and context. Hence: 2008, year of learning? Specifically about two things. Proper hard core discipleshippy pastoral care, healing/ wholeness all that kind of thing. Mission. Who is doing what? What does REAL mission look like? If I want to see the Kingdom emerge wherever I am I think it involves those two things! It also involves me becoming more of those things (more wholeness or openness to it, and more missional!). So there we go: What think ye? Where d
